This little chipmunk is needle-felted from sheep’s wool (torso up), with glass eyes, paws with wound string, sitting in a round wooden frame with a background of silkscreen printed fabric (of our original handmade design, printed by hand in our studio).

Needle felting is a craft that uses barbed needles to interlock wool fibers into dense shapes. Each item is handmade and thus individual. While time-consuming to construct, the results can be very realistic and rewarding on display. This sculpture is a work of art that is fairly fragile and not intended to be a toy – please keep out of reach of small children and pets.
